WHO WE ARE
We are not a yoga studio we are a movement school helping educate you on the capabilities of our minds and bodies
through all different disciplines of movement.
Our focus is in helping you build a body that is resilient to stress as we move through the ever changing world, while exploring the possibilities of the human body by changing the way we approach it.
We will guide you slowly and safely into strengthening your body and mind.
We work off of our four foundations Respiratory, Adaptable, Resilient and Repair and continue to educate ourselves on our passions and beliefs to bring you knowledgable and informative classes , so we as humans can understand our bodies and minds on a deeper level.
Everyone is welcome to come move, learn and train with us. We are here to help you develop and deepen your personal practise, while connecting with an ever growing strong community. You'll find no egos here!
Create a body that is intelligent, resilient and adaptable.

It refers to having an attitude of openness, eagerness, and lack of preconceptions when studying a subject, even when studying at an advanced level,

WHAT PEOPLE SAY
"The programme Lisa and the team Have set at TMH is holistic and free. Holistic in the focus areas and coverage of mixed movements in their classes that will help you build on solid foundations.
Free in the approach, here there is no dogma in the teaching, just a genuine love of moving together and doing so in the freest way possible."
Laced in history, this 200 year old building is the home to a strong community of moves, all working hard to become the best versions of themselves through movement.
We are big believers in 'No man is an island' and that collaboration is key to building a stronger community.
Due to the effects of COVID-19 we are unable to open
The Movement House original smaller space and have moved our school next door into The Leith Arches in collaboration with
The Wellness Hub Leith, a multi-functional space.
While we continue to follow government guidelines for yours and our safety, we will be working from a reduced schedule to ensure enough time for cleaning in-between classes, along with reduced spaces to ensure social distancing.
The 200 year old Leith train station Arch way, would usually hold 30 mats on the mezzanine level and a further 40 mats on our lower level.
We also have an outdoor area for when the Scottish sun graces us with her presence. This space can hold a further 20 mats.
This space is available for hire, contact us to discuss availability
We would usually provide mats, all props and water but due to government guidelines we ask you to bring your own mats, props and water.
Also to arrive ready for class where possible to decrease cross over time
until we are informed otherwise.
There is a ban on single use plastic bottles in the space.
