My Journey

My journey with yoga began in 2015, I was living in an extremely high state of stress, suffering from fibromyalgia and Crohn’s disease, along with mental health issues. I stepped into a hot yoga class and as I was walking home I felt like I was walking on clouds, for the first time in what felt like forever I felt lighter and happy.

I continued to explore many styles of yoga, with vinyasa, yin, restorative and kundalini.

Over the years I was able to almost eliminate symptoms of illness and hugely reduce my stress levels through consistent yoga and meditation practice. Yoga is the one thing in life that always brings me back. I honestly believe yoga is magic. You can be having the worst day and then spend an hour on your mat and everything seems a bit lighter.

After experiencing all the wonderful effects of the practice on my body, in 2018 I decided to embark on my biggest adventure to date and do my 200 hour teacher training in Edinburgh. It was one of the best times of my life. When I began training I was unsure of if I wanted to teach but when I taught my first class during the course I instantly knew it was what I was here to do.

I love teaching, I love being able to hold this space for others to explore with their practice and find a little more inner peace every time they step on their mat.
