GOOD NIGHT YIN
Who is this for: Anyone
It's the end of the day and time to wind down in preparation for a blissful and deep night's sleep.
Focusing on releasing tension and stress, while opening the connective tissue to ensure a freer flow of blocked energy in the body, internal organs and joints, while allowing the body to reline and find balance between the yin (cooling energy) and yang (heating energy).
Once our energy is inline and balanced this makes way for an easier and more consistent night's sleep.
Yin at times also targets areas of the body that are rarely found in dynamic yoga practises.
Yin is a slow-paced style of yoga which can be mistaken with restorative but we are here to dispel the common misconception of being an easy style of yoga. Let's face it, is any style of yoga easy?
Yin can have you encountering challenges on a physical, emotional and mental level, but you and I both know the benefits are far more rewarding.
